NCKU Student Association COVID-19 Prevention Announcement(2022.12.23)

According to the new COVID-19 Prevention Announcement of NCKU on December 2nd, measures for student events are listed as follows: 

  1. All events should be applied beforehand. Event Proposal, Event COVID-19 Prevention Plan, and The Checklist(checked, filled out the pages, signed) should be attached when submitting the application form. (image shown below)

  1. There’s no limit for the number of participants, yet one cannot exceed the limits of venue capacity. For the venues in SAC I & II, please check here: https://reurl.cc/k1qj93
  2. Regulations regarding surgical masks:
    • When your event is held outdoor, you may remove your mask during event. But if it’s a large scale event, it is still advised to wear your mask.
    • When your event is held indoor, you should wear a mask all the time. Under certain circumstances could you remove the mask, listed as below:
      • (1)doing sports
      • (2)singing, dancing, playing instruments that requires to use your mouth (other instruments still required to wear a mask all the time)
      • (3)photo shooting, recording, live broadcasting
      • (4)during meals
      • (5)hosting, reporting, giving a speech, giving a lecture etc
    • If you’re having symptoms or you will be meeting lots of strangers, it is still required to wear a mask.
  3. No eating and drinking during event, except drinking water. If your event would include meal hours (breakfast, lunch & dinner), you may arrange break time for the participants to have a meal. But they should keep social distancing while eating, and they shall not change seats, nor chat with others.
  4. While applying for event, please fill out the number of Non-NCKU Participants. Organizers should collect their name list ahead and keep the list for 14 days just in case.
  5. Event participating:
    • Confirmed cases and Positive rapid test result cases are not allowed to participate any event during stay-at-home period. Once the period is over, one must first get a negative result from the rapid test kit before participating any event.
    • If the participant is undergoing self-initiated prevention period, they can still participant your event if they have a negative test result from the COVID-19 rapid kit within 2 days, and have no symptoms.
    • While participating events, if one has close contact with confirmed case (removed mask over 15 min), they could still participate events if the rapid test result is negative. If contact with mask on, one must conduct self-health monitoring.
  6.  We encourage all participants to download and turn on the APP “Taiwan Social Distancing”.
